September 27-28, 2013
A major undertaking of the Rodeo Historical Society, the annual
Rodeo Hall of Fame Weekend celebrates the accomplishments of Rodeo
Hall of Fame inductees and the Ben Johnson Memorial Award and
Tad Lucas Memorial Award recipients. Since 1955, cowboys and cowgirls
have been inducted into the Rodeo Hall of Fame at the Museum,
home to the largest national rodeo collection and the first Rodeo
Hall of Fame.
Rodeo Hall of Fame Weekend is open to the public to purchase
reservations and attend. It features a Champions Dinner Friday
evening, a membership meeting and entertaining Rerides Rendezvous
storytelling activity on Saturday and the Hall of Fame Gala Saturday
night. Both evening socials include benefit auctions with silent
and live segments to support Rodeo Historical Society projects.
The best way to stay in touch with upcoming Rodeo Hall of Fame
plans is to become a member of the Rodeo Historical Society. In
addition to an invitation, members have the privilege of voting
on inductees into the Rodeo Hall of Fame. Single annual memberships,
as well as RHS/Museum All-Around memberships are available with
a variety of benefits. See you in September!
